Treasure Trove of Wallpaper

Trove-wallpaper2

With a client base including Nobu Restaurants’ private dining rooms, Club Monaco, Fairmont Hotels, W Hotels, McCann Erickson, Suffolk University and celebrity residence, New York based Trove, led by creative design duo Jee Levin and Randall Buck, have obviously got some thing right with the formula of their wallpaper and window covering creations through their company Trove.

Inspired by New York City’s 100-year-old flower market in the middle of Manhattan, with later inspirations looking at the natural elements. Levin and Buck’s work is a fantastic interpretation of the uncomplicated, yet fascinating beauty of our surrounding natural environment….. There are also a few quirky takes of Queen victoria and historical buildings added in amongst their portfolio.

With Trove’s designs pushing the limits of scale and repeats with unique patterns that are 12 feet high and 3 to 6 feet across, there is something for all scale of rooms.

All of Trove’s wallcoverings are printed on commercial-grade paper, using high-quality non-toxic wax-based coatings and archival inks, which have a lifespan of 140 years. Trove’s expertly designed products are eco-friendly and recyclable.

My favourite has to be Nyx…. which is yours? There are lots more to check out on their site…which also states stockists.

LM and I have a small wall that we want to cover with paper in our (weirdly shaped) hallway. I had been considering Trove’s Indi, but am now reconsidering. Possibly Fuoco would be a braver choice! Cheers Possum!

I love beautifully done wallpaper and believe it will never go out of style. However, I am not fond of the taking down part…I’ve been working in my daughters bathroom for the past week trying to repair the drywall from my lame wallpaper removal attempt. Next time, I’m leaving it to the experts!

(I could be tempted to re-paper after looking at your selection!)

That was always my fear with wallpaper the issue of taking it down, although nowadays the technology is such that it is much easier to take down…and apparently put up 🙂

AMAZING! It would be tough to choose, but I especially love Indi. Oh, and Azha. Only prob is that I think the birds and the butterflies look a little too real and it might feel like being attacked! 🙂
