Jacaranda Tree

05 Nov

The vibrant purple of the Jacaranda Tree is one of the great signs that summer is on the way.  A recent walk in the hinterland of Byron Bay this weekend saw a path strewn with many of them…. I hope you enjoy a relaxing start to the week….

On with the colourful journey…………

BCD – hope you had a wonderful time in Byron. I LOVE Jacarandas. Jacarandas and mangoes are two of my favourite things about summer in Sydney. I have a childish game that I play in the car where I point out every jacaranda I see. As you can imagine, LM just loves this game…!:-)

It is we are hitting the 30 degrees mark which is great. Although I will never get used to having a warm sunny Christmas Day!!! 😉

It’s gray and gloomy today so this is a welcome sight! You can’t read about Australia without hearing about the Jacaranda but I’ve never seen one, they are lovely!

They are everywhere at the moment! Unfortunately we only get a couple of weeks a year to enjoy!
